    She's looking really good. I'm starting to leave some extra length on the lower hull pieces where they meet the upper hull, a lesson from my HMS Hood build. It seems like you never have enough left at the top ends to cover the seam between the pieces. -Ski

    I agree. After seeing the 1:200 USS Leutze on water using acrylic and silicone, I'm really interested in doing the same. I bought the JSC Invincible and Derfflinger to try it out.... -Ski

    Here are some more updated shots. One of the big shortcomings of this kit is the lack of gun directors like the Mk 51. There was a second set of searchlights instead of the set of gun directors abaft of the aft funnel. I am going to trim these down and scratch build some. I did add pelorises...

    Sorry about your loss. I, too have lost a ship in action. Below is (was) my 1:200 scale HMS Hood, that took a dive off of my bookcase. It was massive, too.... Let's drink to their loss...aussie I completed the 1:400 scale Dreadnought by JSC a couple years ago. It was a fun model!! -Ski
