Where were H0 scale models firstly produced?

Trix and Marklin were the first to produce HO an OO in Europe and a few years later Bing and American Flyer produced HO in America according to a book I own. Ron.

    Brill Motor Car drawings

Thanks for the info on the drawings Ray. Turns out I just bought that issue with a bunch of other mags at a train show this weekend. Didn't even know I had it. The drawings are in O scale but I can resize them easy enough. Also door and window placement is different but as long as I have outside...

New Contest This one is for a Prize

Edavillenut have you looked at the plastruct #91611 Brick. I have only used it on an old branchline warehouse I bought, but it seems to look ok. Only thing I found is that if you are painting it with acrylics you will have to give it a coat of dullcoat first. Ron.

    Brill Motor Car drawings

That car is almost identicle. Where was it taken? It looks like a nice original Brill car. The only difference I can see is the length of the hood where the radiator sits. It may just be that it is a bit newer model with different engine. The one I am modelling is actually made by Service Motor...

    Hey There

I agree with CNWman about HO being the cheapest. Also it has by far the biggest selection of everything. Locos, rolling stock, structures, you name it.Ron

    First Picture on RP.net

That bridge is only a temporary one. See the supports in front of it. That is where the new bridge will be. This one was put in place to divert the train track around the new bridge site so it won't interfere with rail traffic during construction. They will replace those old peirs and the new...

    Cattle Call

Yeah and I think it only has 945 pieces. Just kidding. All I build is craftsman kits like this. They really don't take that long. The elevator took me about 20 hours(not including the shingles that was probably another 10 hrs.).Only drawback is the price. They can get pricey but I buy everything...

    HO in the 70's

In the early 70s I bought 2 used Triang sets(a transcontinental passenger set and a freight set with a few extra cars).Later went to tyco and model power.Still have them all except for the Lionel which had a meltdown shortly after...

    Fire away

Hi Carlos. Before you do any building it is always a good idea to stain your wood first. If you get any glue on the wood where it shouldn't be the stain will not take in that area.Just take everything slow and you shouldn't run into too many problems.Above all, have a good time doing it and good...
