nose gear socket I would just make the rolled tube for the socket long enough to extend right up to the top of the nose cowl.... that should support it enough and at the same time, strenthen the nose fusilage section.

gear Where there is a Will, there's a way! Actually Will, your post is quite valuable..... I never really thought about making part by leaving some material attached until assembled. Sort of like removing the sprue fron a plastic(shudder) part! When I disected that conglomeration of...

nose gear Through the miracles of modern sergery...the part still lives The part could be built if theextra material is left to hold it while you are making it.

gear Ok, Will... now I see what you intend the parts to be....BUT... that then is like your revision design, gear parts... I don't think think it is buildable....because if you look at the part which should attach to the wheel....you would end up with 5 little separate "bits" as soon as...

Nose gear Ya, Will... That particular one is glued. (But, others are waiting...just off stage!!)...WHY?? Because of the size..it's pretty hard to get the main support, to the shape required.......(IDEA!) I'm using 67# card...so it's pretty flimsy...110 probably better

main rotor OK... 5 degrees ahead....(for the next one)...cause this one is already glued in at 90 ... darn..I had that 3-way that showed that, too!! Thats why the long stick!!(trimmed later) The really "heafty" roll(post #48 ), supports the rotor shaft, and makes the orientation...

Rotor Thanks Will... I would have guessed that the control rods went between part #4 and 6, or is that what you meant. Took a guess at the nose gear...not sure if it is right. I'm at work right now (SHhhhhuussshhhhh).... so I haven't seen your email yet. .Later....Bill

Part #12 No, Will, your numbers are just fine! ... It was me. On second try, I had the part upsidedown, inside out and rolled the wrong way; other than that, I had it right! ... and it STILL fit pretty good!! Just give me a big square plug and I'll see if I can get it in a little round...

Assembly 3 mismatch I think that this is just two angles of the same problem. At the point where 6a contacts, there is no internal support in the fusilage, so it can squeeze in to be a bit narrower. But, in order for it to do this, the top of the fusilage is going to want to bulge up...

Assembly 3 Looking good Darwin I shared your concern about not installing the winshield, before 1b. I left it for later, however. I notice that you can probably gain access by inserting a rod up through a hole, where the nose gear mounts. (At least that is the plan!) I had some difficulty...

"Nose cone" Hey... I scratched my head for a few minutes when I first looked at it, but actually the nose came out really well..... especially if you were going to paint..... with a little sanding.... I was telling myself..."Geez...this looks like plastic!!!" Two photos follow... 'before'...
