Yup, without express consent of UHU02 it stays on my hard drive only, PM requests for copies will be politely rebuffed, sorry guys.
Thanks for the complements!
Just a few pictures of the latest upscale project, UHU02's X-Wing into 1:18 Scale. Ive upscaled the interior but haven't built it yet. Now just to get permission to release it!.
Enjoy
That's the fun thing about this hobby, you can upscale designs until you reach the "Wife is about to divorce you scale" then you know its gone to far! Looking forward to the rest of this build!
Alas, the permission side has been silent, have tried emailing, messaging, semaphore, interpretive dance, everything but alas no permission granted yet. Will keep trying and when it does then I can publish the upscaled model.
I agree, simple advice does not need to be credited on the design directly but where another person contributes their own design for a part to form part of the whole of the design then its only fair they receive recognition for that contribution.
I feel that the original designer should always be credited regardless of how many changes you make to the design. I have in the past completely converted jpegs to vector but would never claim to be the designer, that's why anything I though reflects only my Tinkered With stamp, I only tinker...
Any label stickers would be fine, just smooth them down after sticking them as that creates a much tighter bond to the paper. I haven't done a help file for this monster as I used the instructions from the standard 1:400 scale model, only difference is this one is much bigger.
I personally loath tabs and using glue when joining parts so as much as possible i get label stickers and use them where I can cut to the right size. That stops and glue marks and gives a clean edge to any joint as the sticker already has glue that is not detrimental to paper. Sometimes I found...
I would gladly load it but I am not the only designer with a credit to the design so awaiting their go ahead before doing so! I don't mess with other designers!:(
The most printer friendly are the VF-1S Focker and the VF-1A & J Rick versions, models are mostly white which saves on printing. MOst of the non-canon tend to be fully coloured and killer on printing.
If you PM me your email address I can send through the latest updated versions no probs.
