the table took a couple weekends when I wasnt wiring, the drawer slides are just the type that go on kitchen drawers, metal rails with a wheel at either end, nothing fancy..........

Got my inside workshop all cleaned out and reorganized to be more train/model oriented, its right next to my layout table so its extra special to have this little space, so I dont have to go out to the big workshop in the garage for everything....I still have to share it with all my reloading...

Im going to put power lines up on my layout, but Im having trouble finding info on sizes, and distance from track lines etc.......anyone know how tall a phone pole, or power pole is? and how far from the tracks they should be?

as someone who started in nscale for the same resasons you want to change (more stuff in a smaller space) Im definitely feeling the limitations of it as far as detailing goes.....nothing ever feels realistic looking enough on my layout, and to get it any better Im just about reduced to using...

Im scratchbuilding alot of the buildngs on my layout, and Ive figured out how to overcome most of my issues, but I cant seem to do good windows.......are there parts for buildings available to buy? like little windows, or doors or likewise....or better yet, how did you guys that build your own...

Im going to run a few feeder lines from the far end of the layout, where the ballasting isnt done yet and I can still get to the bottom of the track easily.....using the smaller pak to power lights is a great idea! Im so mad I didnt think of this soonerbut what can you do.....live and...
