    What Trucks for HO 80' COACH ERIE Branchline Blueprint?

    Just wonder what where kind of truck/wheelsets I need for this car? The plastic ones got a little buggered up from me having to take them apart since I glued them together backwards. So I guees I need to fix my brand "new" coach.

    I am assembling a branchline heavyweight erie coach using all the optional detail parts also and boy I must say, I really dont like these tiny parts. My glompy mechanic hands find this a little challenging. And this is HO how do n-guys do it?

    Well as a newbie I just have one thing to say. That is freaking awsome! Its like each section is like a different "slice of life". Like those direct Tv commercials where the guy changes age and era as he goes from different rooms of the house. Very very interesting project.

    I am currently making roads with a spackle base then sprinkling fine medium gray ballast on top pressing it in, then spraying with wet water and putting more ballast on top. I figure to just trim the road when the spackle dries and either paint the edges or use foliage to even out the roadside...

    I know in the wiring for model railroads books by kalmbach pub the old fashioned way is to use toggle switches and diodes and making a nice board to mount it on with lines for each route. I'll scan a page and post it to give you a general idea.
