I actually have a Bachman Heavy mountian that has a plug. I have a Ahtrean SD-40 I would like to put sound in. No plug. Suggestions?

Jim what type of switch are you suggesting? On/off switch? This is just for lighting. - I have one house light. - Truck has head lights - One lamp - Tunnel will have lights - I'm looking for the apprioprate light to shine some light on my pond.

I mentioned in an older thread I installed the pond using white glue. I created a silicone berm on the outside of the pond to simulate snow banks. Later it will be covered by snow. Then I simply put down a thin layer of white glue. Before it dried I stuck in a few rocks from our rock yard...

Well I tried the white glue and it did what I expected. Look good for the most part. Seems to work with one minor problem. I should of painted the foam a little better under the glue. The glue seemed to enhance the pinkish hue of the foam. :) Looks like I'm tearing it up tonight after...

I like the Soundtraxx Tsunami for my Bachman heavy mountain....but they don't have Diesel yet. IS the Soundtraxx Tsunami plug and play??? I think the trouble I having is figuring out which model I need....I also like Digitrax too but again trying to figure out exact model....

Funny you mention that. Your not going to put a Zamboni on my iced over pond. However that might be funny seeing one sticking out of the water. I saw a module last year that had a shark sticking out of a iced pool. Funny.

How did the plexiglass turn out? I'm actually creating a Forzen pond with skaters tonight. I thought I would use normal white glue Might take a bit to dry but I think it will give me the right appearance. I can even make the surface a little irregular by putting small stones and sticks...

:) Too small a layout to have more than one train. But it might be challenging to run multiples on it.

Does a manufacture exsist that creates a control and sound decoder all in one? I've always purchased NCE but I have a need to install control and sound now. :)

Never seemed to affect my trains. And we ran long frieght runs on a module layout.
