I have not seen the Courbet form Modelik yet. I did just finish their model of Paris, photos are here on this site. Is the model of Courbet of WWI or WWII? The Paris also sailed to British ports and Courbet and her were likely very similar in appearance at that time.

Finshed model. The ships hull is fairly decent, I only added strips at each bulkhead and nothing on the above waterline. I love the links on the Junyo question I posted recently that shows an iteresting way of building the upper hull and improving its fit. I will try this when I build my Junyo.

I have never seen that before, it definately seems to work very well. I will try this when I make mine. It looks like they added a normal thickness outer skin, the went back and measured and glued the heavier stock on the inside of the white skin from bulkhead to bulkhead. A great techinque...

Has anyone seen or heard of the Fly 1/200 Titanic appearing on the sures of N. America? I have been looking but have seen nothing anywhere.

I think that won't help much as it shrinks, it will contour toward the center of the bend leaving a nice wavy surface just like an airplane wing.
