The market is back! Well now that the rainy season is over the Hilbourne's open air market is back, look at fresh vegetables and the tasty apples, all ready to be taken home :)

Expanding on the idea! Well, first of all I must say the pictures are astounding! Interestingly and, on behalf of realism, I tought it would be fun to have an electric production plant on a layout, does anyone have any pictures of electric plants that would adequate to a logging layout?

Thanks for the fantastic explanation Ron (and to everyone), this solves my problem because I wasn't sure if I would put them or not. Since the restaurant is in the bottom of a mountain I'll leave the rocks out, aestheticaly (probably mispelled) i prefer it this way.

I will Ricardo :) Robin the layout is 12*16 inch, the station pictured is 4*2.7*1.5 inch, it's small, but that's part of the magic :) Jonh, thanks for the suggestion, it's a nice pick and maybe I'll go with that one.

Something is missing! Well the "Café" idea is still in the planing stages, I have a car with a caravan that I could scratch to a small portable Cafe, let's see if that is possible.

Almost done! Well the parking lot is underway, I know the coal mine space is not that big but it's all they could afford, yes real estate prices are getting higher everyday in my layout :)

This was taken today. Yes it's not even slow it's very slooooooow. This has the roads sketched and a small station from the faller catalog, I've dismissed the idea of making a small tunnel since in this case the height would be above what I was planning.

Well, this first picture is from a few month's ago and as you will see in the following pictures it's going slow. As I told at the time it's a small layout I'm making in my free time at work. It´s only 30*40 cm and it's just a small oval with a small branch.

Well, I'm just curious to be honest, I recently bought this kit to integrate in my n layout: Vollmer - 7742 - Restaurant I include a picture below, my question is, why do you put the rocks in the roof? I first tought it might be because of the snow but this would only put more weight on...
