Well I joined The Gauge not long ago but when I did it Shamus had already finished most of it's actual layout so I didn't got to see any pictures of the layout without the scenery, is it possible to share one or two pictures of that phase? Thanks in advance.

Just an aditional explanation, are the rtr chassis a brand or a type? I did a search on rtr chassis in google and all I found were some slot cars.

Well probably most of the persons must know it but there are some things I would like to know about narrow gauge. Did it appear before or after normal gauge? What were the advantages of using it? Was it only used in logging, mining and urban transport? Was it particular from a country or...

Great scene, I was to ask this question earlier, did you bought any structure or rolling stock to your layout or did you built everything from scratch? Was the track hand laid or bought?

First of all thanks to everyone, since it's a small layout I carved everything with an x-acto knife, now I'm considering plaster or paper/white glue to cover everything, I prefer the plaster but since I'm doing this in my work (on free time :) ) I can't do all the mess involved, I might go for...

Well the last three weren't but I edited them and reuploaded and now everything seems fine.

Here is the fourth picture, I ballasted the track and carved the lake in the last few days so new pics are on the way.

From brown to green! It's great to see scenery in formation, the way it changes from the dull brown and becomes full of life with the green. The river is very well modelled and seems very realistic. Keep up the good work, and keep posting some pictures :)
