    Easy armour

Looks very good! It would be great, to get more models in a "small" scale. I prefer 1:48, and scaling up from 1:72 is mostly not a problem (much easier than scaling down, because many details would become veeery small:mad:) There are some at Papertigerarmaments, but the range isn´t really...

    Y's Papermodel Workshop

A good question! To remove a file from your ftp-server ist nearly as easy as to remove one from your HDD! It seems, that he wasn´t working on his site for a long time. The "newest" files are from may 2004, nearly two years ago!!! Ralf

    Y's Papermodel Workshop

Hi, i´m also waiting for the Humber and the AB 41. Some times ago i´ve asked him how long we have to wait, and he replied, that they are nearly deleted. Maybe they will be released in the future, but he couldn´t tell me when. Just hope, wait and look on his page. Ralf

    Sturmpanzer I

Hi Don, the Helmet seems to be a souvenir. The "rolls" are also on some other pictures i found in the net. It could be either additional ammunition in basket-Boxes or some kind of canvas to protect the open Gun against the weather. The Top and rear of the gun are without any protection at...

    Sturmpanzer I

Hi Charlie, you´re wright, they took a panzer 1 without turret, a complete Sig 33 and some iron sheets (10mm) to cover, and the Sturmpanzer 1 was ready for service. this was made by Alkett, only 38 vehicles were build. The result was a movable gun, much too high for battle-use (3,35 m !!) and...

Panzer I - Modelik or Supermodel?

Hi Don, the Super-Model Tank comes on 3 pages, app. 24 x 34 cm, Afrika -Version, with an ugly orange-touch, glossy print on very hard card-board. Tracks and many metall-looking parts are printed in silver. It´s on my list "to do soon", i´ll post here, when i start it. Ralf

Hi NOBI, looks like an interesting project, but you should mirror your tank, turret belongs on the left side, machinegun un the right. Regards Ralf

    question re tank treads

Hi Don, i think, you shouldn't depent too much on the right colour. It is right, that there was on colour, deffinied as "Panzergrau" on the paper, but only the vehicles that left factory after that point were coloured with it. All others were painted at shops in the field. they got there colour...
