    Let's try this again...

In all honesty, I was going for the "sun breaking over the horizon in the morning" sort of look but I completely agree, the pictures are too yellow even with the Fall foliage. Good job Rory! Your work really helped me see the value in doctoring photos. I turned to my handy MS Photo Editor to do...

    I can post pictures!!!

Hey, it works!!! I used the "Attach File" with no problems. My problem was that I wasn't seeing the image in Preview mode and assumed it wasn't attaching. There should be a disclaimer stating this next to the "Browse" button. Oh well, now I can post my pictures :D

    I can post pictures!!!

Sorry guys for the confusion and the problems... Charlie, I tried using the "Attach fle" method but am having problems with it also. Once I select a jpg from computer, I hit the "open" button to attach it but nothing happens. Am I able to see the image in Preview mode?

    Daybreak on the M&E Ry.

Here are the latest photos on some near-finished scenery of the canyon section of my Mammoth and Eureka Ry. There is still a large long wood trestle that will go in the foreground of this scene but I thought it would be good to take some in-tight shots of this bridge before I can't get up...

    Along the right of way

Wow! I thought that photo was from a digital camera. Nice shot and nice scenery.

    More pictures...

Good question. Because I'm sloppy when I work, I chose to build the scenery first then construct the bents. That way, I wouldn't have to worrry about overspray and I could lay the terrain to my liking rather than the other way around. I'll simply (hopefully:( ) drill holes where the bents should...

I have more pictrures to share of the my layout. Since I don't have the ability to directly post images yet, click on the link below to take you to my Yahoo Photo Album to see how the layout is progressing. Uteram's layout As you can see, I've began scenicking the canyon area and have...

    My layout...

Shamus, Nice looking Goose! Already you've given me a few ideas for the future, but they're way down on the to do list. This weekend it's scenicking and pouring water in my gorge (from the pictures above. As for motive power, I'll be sticking with Bachmann shay and Roundhouse shay but may...

    My layout...

Should say "Geese", not ghost above In my subconscious, I must have been thinking of the "Galloping Ghost" Red Grange from the old football days (way, way before my time). The Geese are great, although it would take some real scratchbuilding to make a standard gauge one.

    My layout...

As far as galloping ghosts, I probably won't run any, although things could change.

    What's everyone shooting with?

Cameras that is. Not to compare what everyone's got or attempting to keep up with the Jones', but I'm curious what everyone is using for their cameras. So many of you have magazine quality photos and I'm wondering the what's and how's of your skill. Personally, I use a Nikon CoolPix 775...

    Garahbara Scenics

Agree with everyone about the modeling quality Woodie. Generally, I'm not fond of Euro-style railrods (no offense to anyone) but this stuff looks good!
