Chief, if I were you I would go fishing tomorrow. Bad weather is going to be setting in for us in Buckeyeland tomorrow. It is about five weeks until Christmas and I have a serious problem. All of my locomotives are running perfect. Using Murphy's rules, this means that when we have our...

Good afternoon. For all my Buckeye friends: "It's not whether you get knocked down; it's whether you get up." - Vince Lombardi Boy am I glad we did all the yard work yesterday. We have had rain and sleet this pm. Tom, good idea to sell those trashy locomotives to a NS foamer, like the...

Good afternoon, where it is 45 degrees in Buckeyeland. Been a busy day. Grocery shopping, dry cleaning, mowing the lawn, storing the deck furniture, storing the Garden RR buildings, and mulching millions of leaves. I have heard two stories about the train wreck in Maryland. One story...

Eating Thai food in Alabama is like eating Chesapeake Blue Crab in Ohio. Just not right. :p Dr. John, I do believe your diagnosis of the Chief is correct. Grits withdrawal could very well do that to a hardened Sutherner. Monday is Veterans Day and I want to give a big thank you to all the...

We celebrated Baby Buckeye's Birthday last night. She and I ran the trains before the celebrations. Of course she likes to run the Mikado pulling the C&O passenger cars. It was the highlight of my day to see my daughter of 28 years running the trains just like she did when she was much younger...

I see one program that I should hold back on funding. Mowed and mulched. For this time of the year, not many leaves have hit the ground. Usually by Nov, 80 percent are on the ground. Hope to run trains tonight after I build my campfire.:thumb:

It went really good. The Raleigh area is real nice. I think I would like to work with funding of local programs.
