    contest Galen: 31" -36" is the width of the shelves and/or bench tops. I am modeling in HO and no particular era. I have some vintage rolling stock, 30's , 40's era, and some later stuff.     And my wife DOES support my hobby! Twelve by twenty four. Feet, that is. It was built Amish style to have more room in the loft area. It has double doors on each end, one of them being five feet wide, the other six feet wide. It needs to be pushed around, so that it will be "square with world."...

    blue on blue.. Whether or not the blue on Star would conflict with the blue on trucks would be compatible with each other depends on many variables. Lighting, angle of sight, etc. Personally, I really like thalo blue, aka: Prussian Blue. It has a naturally slightly metallic sheen. :mrgreen:
