    At least you guy's have hobby shops. The closest one to me is about a hour drive, so I mail order most every thing. The only time I go to the hobby shop is when I am in the area.:eek:

    Ground Throws

    I don't know, the ground throws may not be needed but they sure make it more realistic looking. I'm planing to use them on mine needed or not. I like the Caboose Hobbies ones with the target plates on them, you can tell which way your switch is directing by just a glance!:eek:

    Javier, On the N scale layout is that control panel custom made? It looks great!! And the reason N scalers are so slow is that it takes them awhile to focus thier eyes on all those tiny trains!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1:eek:

    Scooby, My answer to your question is how long do you plan to live. I have a space thats about 25' by 30' and my mind wanders just thinking of how to fill it up. With the size you have I would probably be comatose or insane within a week!!!!!:eek:

    Hey Mike, I use 40 watt dual bulb flouresent hooded fixtures over my layout. they give of bright light without getting hot. The only draw back is if you have a little glitch in your scenery or painting it shows up big time!:eek:

    crossovers

    Paul, Mike is correct, the double crossover would be cheaper unless you want to enter and exit on oppisite sides of the oval!Then you would have to use 4 turnouts or 2 double crossovers.

    pictures Planeshavings, Know what you mean about pictures. I've been putting this layout together for about 2 1/2 years now and I don't have one picture, heck Idon't even have a camera. Dos'nt matter much though because even if I did I would'nt have a clue how to get them here!!:eek:

    Your right Tyson, same thing in HO. I found especially the steamers. I had to turn most of the flanges down on my older HO steamers when I went from code 100 to 83.
