    Hey Jeff, Just a thought, you might want to put either a wye or a turntable on the top part of the layout, so you don't have to back all the trains up into the loop. It's just a preference, some roads always had to back up!!:eek:

    Mix and Match?

    On the CP main line from the Twin Cities to Chicago they run everything. My feed mill is 20' from the tracks and I see it all. CP, BNSF. UP, SOO, MILW. ROAD, CEFX,WC,EMD DEMOS,CSX,and a few I can't even tell you what they are, no logos and strange paint schemes!!:eek:

    Dirty boxcars

    Matt, Would of never thoght of putting a car in the scanner, seems to work great. Maybe I'll try one of my engines since I don't have a camera either! P.S. You might want to run that car threw the washer, It's kinda dirty!!:eek:

    Ballasting!!

    Hey Luis, The ballasting looks great. One thing I did notice was you might want to put the ties in where you joined the tracks together. I'm assuming you soldered them so you had to remove some. I just slip single ties in before I ballast and the glue holds them in. I hope I'm not out of line...

    track maps

    Hey Guy's, Does anyone know of a site where a person could find the track maps for the Milw. Road threw Wis. I am thinking of trying a little proto. modeling. All I can find are state maps that show the trackage but no sidings, yards and maint. areas. Any help would be appreciated!!:eek:

    Hmmmmm!, seems I've seen this post before. Sorry I can't help you much with this one Spitfire. I don,t recall seeing any good looking signals. I model mostly rural or small country town so I don't have much call for them. But I'm sure someone will know!!!!!!:eek:

    I don't know Tyson, except for a litte shine on the fuel tank I would swear it was a real picture of a real train! Goes to show what I know. Guess I shouldn't of said any thing though because now you will be pulling all kinds of tricks on me!:eek:
