    Photo Fun week of Feb. 1

    can i make my own insulated fast track section?

    what is a ton to you??? not trying to be a wise guy just getting a feel as i have tomars crossing signal that activates on its own and times its self out after train goes by and yes there are gates on em. i think i spent around 200$ for the set up.

    Street lights/hydropoles/telephone ploes

    what about 1/16th tube and a coated copper wire that radio shack sells as i have some now ill put that on my list of things to do. and its for n scale to boot.

    well ralph i used craft paints iron oxide and mars black from wal mart and an enviroteck from thier craft dept. myltlpny as for adding a mix to the goop i did not even think of it:eek: perhaps some tips??? nudge nudge...

    I agree yet when a train that was loaded with propane and some other chemical that i cant remember derailed behind my wifes parents house (2007) about 1500 ft back and less than a mile from us the local fire dpt could not find a bill of lading for any of the cars and the crew was not sure of...

    Going through changes...

    to me it dont sound bad but its all in what you want and what you have space for as for me im doing 3 scales ho n and g so i have a choice on what to work with. ho will be a group layout and n is for me and the wife to play with and well g just gets me to spend time outside more.

    ok heres a shot correct me if im wrong but you insulated one rail and then you solderd a jumper wire from one rail to the other side of insulator? if thats the case you just continued the power despite the insulator. to me it also sounds as if you want the train to cross from track one over to...
