    National Hobby Supply Inc

Mike - I have not ordered from them, but they have been a hot discussion item from time to time on the Atlas forum web site. You might go there and do a search for the thread(s). - George PS Check all forums or at least the HO forum - I KNOW this dealer has been discussed on THAT...

    Overview of the

Nice shot AND modeling, Tyson! I can't tell from this "distance", but is that kudzu marching up the bank ??? If so, how do you model it, and how do you keep it from taking over the layout ?? I admit, N-scale has some nice advantages - if only I could "see" them !!! Plus, with the...

I have I.E. 5.5 and a 56K modem, and the website loads up just fine and just as fast as the Gauge for me! Better look at your equipment, software or your ICP, Mike et al !!! - George

Best deal (And hobby shop) EVER!!!!

As Catt's link shows, M.B. Kline's website AND e-Bay "handle" is "Modeltrainstuff". I've bought (won) 4 locos from them on e-Bay. They are the tops in my book - professional, in every good meaning of the term! I've always gotten top quality products and service at a great price from them...

    Dcc

I agree with Mike and Terry - wait for the Zephyr! If you want sound, you really want the Zephyr - it has more functions, which allow more sound control. IF the Zephyr lives up to its announced features, it should blow away the MRC and Atlas systems! - George

    Which DCC?

Javier - Did you know the DIGITRAX line-up will change this summer?? The EBII is out, and a Super EB is in! Also the Genesis is out, replaced by the Zephyr. You might want to take a look at the Zephyr (or the new SEB) before you decide...

    Coupler Problems H O Gauge

It should be pointed out that the Kadee gauge also measues the minimum hose height, too! Kadee also makes a neat tool (a speciality type of pliers) to bend the hoses, when needed. Myself, the only boxcar I would trust to have the correct height would be a Kadee car. But even then the hose...

    Coupler Problems H O Gauge

Even if you choose another coupler than Kadee (a major mistake, IMHO) you STILL need the Kadee coupler height gauge to standardize WHATEVER coupler you do choose! (You might make do with the NMRA gauge, but it is not as easy to use.) Misaligned couplers uncouple. Worse, couplers...

    Rock Island

FYI - 20 degrees C is 68 degrees F for those who are stuck on the U.S. system (the U.S. is the only major country still on the "English" system of measurements, so we might as well change the name!). I wish the U.S. was on metric - I teach it as if it was a foreign language in my science...
