    trestle design help please

    Hello, I found this pic on the net. It shows the rails on this trestle, laid down over normal sleepers. They in turn appear to be sitting on an additional wider sleeper bed. Is this what I am seeing ? Normally the rails sit on sleepers, which then sit on stringers attached to the trestle bents...
