    Speederbike 74-Z

That looks like one of those "Why didn't I think of that?" ideas. So I went looking on google. Here is the first result I found; http://www.bitrebels.com/technology/speeder-bike-motorcycle-replica-build/ Should have known somebody would try something like that. Scott K.

PBY Catalina Consolidatrd Vultee Flying Boat

Nowhere near as good as yours will be, but here's a couple of pictures of the one I built 11 years ago. All I had were thumbnails from the site it was being sold on back then. No idea then how to translate the site, or buy the model. As soon as Dewayne Barnett made it available, I bought one...

PBY Catalina Consolidatrd Vultee Flying Boat

I'll be following this one with interest. This model was one of my first paid downloads, a few years ago. I have it printed, but just never got around to building it. Zathros, I'll have to ask about scrap stock next time I take my daughter to Michaels for college art supplies. Thanks for the...

    Dan Dare Cryptosian Ship

Another Dan Dare work-in-progree. The Astral Queen. The nose is a bit rough. I had to remove and replace the original, but should have just built a whole new model. Still to come, two different stands, and the (optional) launch boosters. Scott K

Design WIP: Days of Thunder Lumina

I have all of the movie car kits in storage somewhere. If I manage to dig them out in time to be useful, I'll scan the decals for you. The only problem with them is the lack of many of the smaller sponsor logos (licensing issue). Scott K.

    Q about search

I've always dislike the search function in these forums. You can't find what you're looking for, because, B-24 for example, only has three characters (the - is ignored). I don't know why, but a search term has to have four or more alphanumeric characters in it. Scott K.

    Mechs versus Tanks

Let me ask another question, and turn the discussion a bit sideways. What about fictional armor? In particular, Hammer's Slammers hover tanks, or Bolo super tanks. Does anyone think a hovering tank of any sort (fans or "antigrav") could ever be practical? Bolos, depending on how high a mark...

Design WIP: Days of Thunder Lumina

Hey, glad to see you're back! Also glad to see you DOT car. Maybe 1/32 or 1/24 with no interior, and 1/18 or larger with one later? Scott K.

    Mechs versus Tanks

Oops, I managed to miss the word "exclude". Sorry, not paying attention to what a post actually says is one of my own pet peeves. Modern technology mech vs. modern armor? no contest. Just too slow. Speed and agility are what's needed, but some anime-like "miraculous" discovery may well be...

    Mechs versus Tanks

Just my opinion, but, if a mech actually had the power, armor, and agility to do what they are shown to in the animes, then conventional armor would have a problem. Never mind how high profile they are. If you can hit one, but can't damage it, then what? Of course, I personally have no idea how...

    Dan Dare Cryptosian Ship

Here's some pictures of the stand, since the model needed something better than a Garfield glass to sit on . Scott K.

    Dan Dare Cryptosian Ship

Thanks. Next up will be the space liner Astral Queen. She's printed out and ready to build. After that will come the Treen Interceptor. Scott K.

    Dan Dare Cryptosian Ship

The second parts picture. Never noticed the six attachment limit before. Scott K.

    Dan Dare Cryptosian Ship

The Cryptosian Rocket Ship from Dan Dare. I designed this by request from Diderick A. den Bakker. This one is a modified, enlarged version of what I first came up with. The wings are of layered construction, with the finished engines slid over and into place, as shown in the last pictures of...

    Boeing Model 307 Stratoliner

The Pan American version is now complete and available as well. This is the Clipper "Flying Cloud", currently on display at the Smithsonian. Coming soon will be the camouflaged C-75. Scott K.

    Boeing Model 307 Stratoliner

After nearly six years, the first edition of the model is finally done and availble at Ecardmodels. Many Thanks to John Dell, this one is as much his as mine. Scott K.

Original TV Series Batmobile Sells For $4.2 Million At Auction.

The old series is currently showing on the ME TV network (Memorable Entertainment Television). Hopefully, it's availble in your area (if you're in the U.S., that is). I love this Batmobile! Despite certain aspects looking just a bit dated, it will always be THE Batmobile to me. Sheer...

    Type 39/40 Tradis.

Nice. As I lookied at the picture, I thought "if he blocked the view of the base just so, and changed the angle of the picture slightly, I'd think the real thing had just landed in his back yard"! Scott K.

    USS Enterprise CVN-65

Its done, its done! Tekzo has released his 1/800 CVN-65 Enterprise! Here; http://myhobbycraft.blogspot.com/2012/11/uss-enterprise-cvn-65-1800.html No instructions, but many good pictures of the construction and finished product. The pages look very good, and surprisingly simple to build...

    Yes, another TARDIS...

I agree, especiall if you're adding the 3d texture details mssing from all the others. I cut out and layered the panels on my copy I built from the plans in the Dr. Who Tech manual years ago. Took forever, and was a real pain, but the result was worth it. Got crunched a while back, so I could...
