These buildings are huge!
I only have one Walthers building kit. It contains I think four mini building kits in it. Each of which is a small warehouse type building. I forgot what the name is, and of course its in the basement at my parents house in Crystal Lake
I'm sorry to revive an old thread, but this is the thread I was looking for. I've been getting bit by the bug to work on my layout for a while now, and am going to a show this upcoming weekend, depending on funeral plans. Sad to see you had to tear it all down, it really did look great, and gave...
Great pics everyone!
Deano, I got to watch that train once, when I was a youngin! My mom woke my sister and I up early, just so she could take us to the train station in Crystal Lake to watch it roll by. Very cool!
Wow Josh! I just found this thread, and love it! Makes me want to go and build something similar for my trains, since my wife is being an unmentionable word about me bringing the trains here. And she wonders why I spend so much time on the computer, DUH!
Anyway, back to topic...This is a great...
I'm aware that it was for a friend, I was just kidding. I would love something as nice as these cars, but I know I don't have the time, patience, or skills for it, nor could I afford one anyway
My trains would be my escape, if I had them here with me instead of at my parents house.
Instead, I have The Sims 2 for an escape. I am god there. I can make people happy, sad and miserable, rich, poor, you name it. Sure beats the life I live
I know that video you are talking about. It happened in Downers Grove, IL. Pretty close to where I live now. Forgot which crossing it happened at, though I used to know
Wayne, thank you for all those pics, love em!
Everyone else - great pics, lets see more!
Chessie, what is that guy on the tower doing? It either doesn't look appropriate, or like he's using a jack hammer up there
