Hi Charlie,
So which one is considered the better tank between the two?
Is it Pz IV ? because it remained in production?
Thanks a lot for the links.
I am going to check them out. :)
Best regards,
Tirta
Hi Charlie,
Thanks for the lengthy explanation,
I think I learn a lot more about german tanks now after reading it. :) :)
What I do not really understand is why they make 2 different tanks: pzkw3 and 4, if they do not
really differentate their roles.
It would be saving a lot of time...
Charlie and C.B.,
Thanks for sharing your tank knowledge.
Command tanks, infantry tanks,
how many tank roles is it in the german army during WW2?
what is the definition of infantry tanks? tanks for shooting infantry?
MacHine13of13,
Thanks for the links.
Regards,
Tirta
Hi Cliff and Charlie,
Thanks a lot for a little "schurzen" history.
I really like to read it, I think it is very interesting. :)
Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
One more question:
If schurzen were introduced on pzkw 3L or M, then why don't all pzkw 4 use it?
Pzkw 4 comes after pzkw...
Hi Charlie and nebeltex,
Yes, naka's Pzkw4 looks good.
It is too bad it does not have armor skirts.
How about if I make some and put on it?
Is it still historically accurate?
Can I put armor skirts on every Pzkw3 and 4? or only on some variants?
Regards,
Tirta
Hi Charlie,
Thanks for the betexa information and the panther offer.
I am looking forward to receive your pm. :)
Does thai paper have german tanks?
Regards,
Tirta
Hi Jim,
I find your halinski panther on the net,
but it is in german:
http://www.papership.de/modelle/panther/teil_1/panther_1.html
where is the english version?
can you post pictures of the completed model: halinski panther and tiger?
and does somebody have the english instruction...
Hi Charlie,
Thanks for the advice.
I think you are right, I better start with no interior detailing such as modelik.
How big is 1/16 kit?
does it still use A4 paper?
>Porsche turret (early) - GPM - Seems quite a good exterior model
how is early gpm compared with more recent edition...
Hi Charlie, Brad and Jim,
Thank you for a such detailed and prompt reply.
I think I have to look at some building thread to have some ideas how the model looks like.
Do you guys know some?
One more question:
for the kits with interior detailing, is it possible to ignore it and build...
Hi Guys,
My brother wants to try to build some paper german armor: Pzkw 3,4,5 and 6.
I know there are several kit out there: halinski, gpm, fly model, modelik and others.
can you recommend some good kits?
thank you
Regards,
Tirta
Hi eibwarrior,
I think your secondary guns are nice. why are you not completely pleased?
And can you explain in more detail how to make the guns from styrene round?
I notice on each gun there are 2 different diameter, do you use 2 different styrene round?
Regards,
Tirta
Hi eibwarrior,
since there is no paper model store in my country,
I do not think that I can find any replacement barrel here.
so I guess I have to make it myself.
do jsc provide paper parts for the barrel?
or do you have to make it yourself?
and what is the year of your MM Rodney...
Thanks guys for the nice comment.
eibwarrior,
I have seen your kgv, it looks very nice.
how many secondary guns do you have to make?
Jim,
not so fast, I still have to make the oars, and there are 56 of them <sigh>
And it is rather hard to color the paper edge since the oar is so...
Hi eibwarrior,
very nice build !
how is this jsc kit compared to MM Rodney or DN Dreadnought?
which one is easier to build?
which one looks best?
and I do not understand why do you look for replacement barrels.
are they provided in the kit?
regards,
Tirta
