Don't Like It Don't Like It, Put It Back

There are two turntables in Sacramento Ca, and one transfer table. The turntable at the muesum is still used. the turntabel at the old sp railyards is not used but the transfer tabel has been rebuilt and is used I believe. I found both on google earth but am unable to capture and post a pic.

I have a few of the 0-4-2 Porters myself. I have heard that useing Pine-sol will remove the lettering. Also even a rubber eraser may do the trick. I have not got up the nerve to try either yet. If you do it please post back.

Hi, I am do a similar thing but in much smaller size (8x3.5), but I am having a main line loop around the outside. The logging/mining part will be a series of switchbacks in the back half of the layout. I am working on some hidden staging at this point but I think it will all come together...

I love the looks of Atlas C55, Not sure of the C80. On my On30 layout I am using a combination of Atlas Flextrack and Peco Switches and On30 (crazy track) To me the Peco is rock solid, but the looks where not as good as the Atlas. That is what it came down to me. Good luck

Hi All, Just to clarify, all of the items had his price tag with the shops name on it. I didn't want any cash back, just credit towards an On30 Loco. Cooled off a little today, however my support for this guy just went down a big step.

I have a few of the bachman flat cars, I was planning on using them for a starting point for most types of cars. I can see building old livestock cars, flats, gondolas (sp?), work caboose, ect, ect from that same base.

That is real neat, what did you use for the roof? looks real to me.

I am really looking forward to playing with this size. I have a couple of the Bachman sets and cannot wait to start building my own rolling stock. Just looking for some cheap trucks/wheel if possible. thanks for the replies
