    I have a 6% grade it look odd, so I but some buildings around it to hide the elevation, oh yes I also have two locos pulling the load. And it climbs nicelly.

    Friday morning the family and I went to North Bay Ontario for my daughter’s dance compition, what a great weekend she got 5 Golds, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze not bad for only her second compition.

    Its Monday 4-25-05, Weekend modeling accomplishments

    Saturday I did the same as ezdays but only about 5 hours and I was the big winner also. Sunday I made more plans on the layout, whet ever happens it always ends up the same way as my first plan ever. One day I'll have a plan I will use, I hope!!! Have a good week all.

    Not much in the model railroading department, my daughter had a dance competition this weekend out of town, and she got 5 silver metals, not bad for her first year in competitive dancing.

    N gauge cork for HO

    I have read in last month's MR about using N gauge cork with a 1/4 inch spacer if you would like a lower roadbed. I'm wondering if anyone has tryed this. The other reason is because I have lots of N gauge cork left over.

    As I stated last week I finally got my track plan on the table, hopefully this weekend I will be able to give it some elevation, and work on laying down the cork. I have seen an artical a couple of months ago in MR mag about using N gauge cork and a 1/4 spacer, I think I will give it a try...
