    Nmra

Wow...talk about a loaded question! (just kidding :D ) There are several people who have several (strong) opinions about this, but here's mine. I think the NMRA has done a lot of good for the hobby, but also think that they are not currently fullfilling their entire potential. I am not...

Just curious, what camera are you using

I'm using a Kodak DX4900 digital, 4.0 megapixels. I have a Pentax K1000 35mm setup, but haven't used it in years now. The DX4900 is a great camera IMO. All of the pics on my website were taken with it.

    Anyone ever used www.wholesaletrains.com ?

Anyone here ever used www.wholesaletrains.com ? I came across them tonight while surfing around and they seem to have some really low prices on things. For instance, I noticed their Atlas #6 Custom Line turnouts are like $6.89 - the cheapest I've ever seen these online has been about $7.50 at...

    Were you from...?

Muy bueno pescado taco. O.k., there's the extent of my Spanish....I think it means something like "very great fish taco" or something like that. Anyway, i've been on this forum since early this year, and like the guppyman I read more than I post, but enjoy the folks here greatly. I also...

    Warehouse

Here's a couple of pics of the warehouse I recently completed to add to my industrial section of my layout. It is the Walthers refrigeration kit, but I built it as a flat with a false back to make it appear twice as big as the normal kit. I added sheet styrene to make up the extra 1/2 roof...

    Had a visitor

Hi Paul - I'm continuously amazed at how much you can accomplish on your layout while mine seems to be just plodding along. Do you work on it 24x7? Got any tips for us slow-workers on how to be more productive in the layout room (other than getting away from the forums?;) )...

    Cool site for billboards

Here's one of my favorite sites for billboards, thought you guys might like it too! Most of them are shown at an angle shot, so not really usable for our layouts, but many of them are straight-on shots and can be easily resized and printed out on your computer for your layouts. Easy way to add...
