Sadly the loco did not complete it's test run. It suffered an overheated tender axle bearing at Shrewsbury and had to return to base at reduced speed. :( John.

Ron, Terry. Here in the U.K. we also call them Trams. Many U.K. cities had tram systems in the first part of the 20th Century and abandoned them in favour of motor busses. They are now starting to see the error of their ways and are building new tramways. (History repeats itself :rolleyes: )...

A couple of photos taken at Lausanne in Switzerland of the multi-voltage Franco-Swiss TGV,s. The first is in the original orange TGV livery and the second in the later blue livery.

This is one of the Virgin Voyager trains I mentioned. This particular one is a class 220 but there is also a class 221 with the ability to tilt on curves.

Nick, What country or area are you modelling ? I know of monasteries in Central Europe that resemble large churches. I have attached a photo of the Vollmer church on my old N-scale layout. I'm sure that two or three of these could be kitbashed into a larger structure.
