Just think about the large population in China. Usually we have 18-20 passanger compartments for a train and for this specific one I think it should be 18. Of course we would not have so many on our layout. Actually bachmann did not have plan to launch the compartment for this train, but only...

But I do not have chance to take it so far, we took plane for buz trip... The company do not permit us to take trains (the boss is suprised/confused about my enthusiasm on trains)

We have very limited steam nowadays. (I would not find it in Shanghai, heared it is stilll in use in Northern China) The national train system speeded up from Apr. 18 this year. The fastest train could reach around 200KM (don't know how many miles) / hour.

BTW, is it of HO scale or N scale? Majority proportion of modelers in China are playing with HO scale because Chinese trains are made in HO scale only. But it seems too large for the layout.

As far as I know, this layout is for operational demostration for a train driver school. It less focus on scenery.

It is plastic. In China, very few affords the brass one.
