Well I already have the Obs car, so I've plumped for a coach, a baggage car, a diner and a parlor car, since as far as I can tell this lets me have something closer to the actual Daylight consist albeit as a much reduced train length. Simon

Well actually it gives me time to finish the layout to running standards! ;) At the moment it is foam on the back of an old door with wooden side panels. The only work so far has been the river cutting and a bridge. I have a little side project too which is to build a small layout to run...

Well you could start with an LifeLike GP20 Chassis as the lengths are pretty close 56'2" for the 20 57'2" for the GP20. 0.075" in N scale ;) Simon

Well here is my first attempt at painting a loco (Atlas GP40 NDB), which I've decalled up for a "The Gauge Railway" locomotive. It's in a Soo line inspire scheme, but sadly I don't have a digital camera that can take anything closer than 5' so apologies for the low quality shots. Simon

Recently I bought some SP Daylight Passenger cars on Ebay. 3 of these were the horrible Model Power (ex Minitrix) undernourished varieties, but one (the obs car) was an Atlas-Rivarossi. Think the MP cars will have to be replaced, but I'd like to get a few cars to match the Atlas one. So my...

Well that too!! :D But my layout is on the back of a door so space is limited too!:) Although that said $109 for the 10 pack is only £65 give or take....less than one Kato diesel or about the same as an Atlas one.
