    Updated WKP Website

I just finished updating my website, as it had grown kind of stale (and some critical information has now changed). I didn't really change the look or feel of it, though, cause I kinda liked that already. That being said, I do tend to use that space for linking a number of pics; if you...

Discrimination at Superbowl, or Money Makes You Above The LAW?

Easy answer: the streaker was trespassing; Janet was being paid to perform. **THAT** is the difference.

    Fire Stations

Hey, has anyone built their own fire station ??? I know it's an offbeat topic, but I got a couple of fire units for Christmas, and picked up another one recently, and I've got a Boley hazmat unit on reserve, so I figure it's only logical to include a fire station on the layout. But I don't...

MoPac Short Bay Window Caboose project

That turned out GREAT, Eddie. I've got a Rock Island transfer caboose I'm working on somewhere in my project pile (I used an Athearn caboose, and bought an aftermarket transfer caboose kit, I think the company was Mococo???).

I've had a few requests for the cardstock container templates over the past couple of weeks. For those of you who were interested, I put everything on one webpage for you . . . http://cardstock.qazam.com/

    The Other Gondola Company

Here's the first pics of the new four-set of gondolas for my private gondola company named after my friend. WONGGON - the other gondola company. (( apologies about the setting, but all my dioramas et al are in the garage, and it's much much too cold and snowy to head out there today ))...

    Trains at Work

As I mentioned to some of you previously, I ended up being involved in a competition at work for Christmas decorations. Unlike others, however, I of course went with a “trains in the snow” theme. Hey, anytime I can have a train looping around my cubicle, it’s a good thing – right ...

    Cardstock Containers

I moved the website over, which is why there's a problem. If you send me an email, I will reply to it with the templates (or at least give you a new place to download them from). I am leaving on xmas holidays as of saturday, though, so i am not making *any* promises about having it done by...

Just as an aside, I was one of the ones that first started printing up cardstock containers . . . including Gauge containers both blue and copper in color (see pic below).

    Back Lit Signs

I did the same as you're suggesting, Arlaghan. I just painted two coats (with a brush) of white on the back of the transparency. Should work even better with an airbrush. I think I might try something different next time just to compare the results, but I was very pleased with the end result.

    Decal printing

They do need to be coated afterwards, Ron, but he isn't even getting to that stage. I'm beginning to think it is the printer, something about the inks being different than most inkjets. Sadly then, there wouldn't be *ANY* fix.

    Decal printing

My other question would be whether you're printing on the proper side.
