Nicely done Jim. If you ever get around to making another of this type character could I suggest to you to use paper instead of card. Slightly thicker than you qwould normally use for letters etc, as the paper is thinner than card the joins do not show up as much as they do with card...

Tiny 1/200 Viper Mk II from new BSG

Indeed it is a nice looking model. How did you get the plank to fit over the box on the underside, or should I say how did you get the box to fit flush with the underside of the model. I'm sure you have noticed you're the only one to show the underside of their model. Those wings look as...

Tiny 1/200 Viper Mk II from new BSG

I thought I'd have a go at this model but I used paper instead of card, a bit easier to fold at this size. I had a bit of problem with the plank bit that goes under the belly but I just cut off the sides and stuck it on top of the big square bit under the wings. I got a bit carried away and...

    Pegasus

I just used ordinary copy paper, I think it prints out with a creamy tinge to it can't remember now. Looking at my model I can still see some of the outline edges and they are an orangey pinky colour with some of that colour in the ribs of the primary feathers on the wings. Bill

Thanks for the nice words but UHU02 should get all the credit I just cut it out and stuck it together, he did all the hard work. A big thank you UHU02 for such a wonderful model. Bill

    C3po

My first ever success with a model from UHU02 :thumb: , all the others have been failures . Model is made from 90gsm paper, its thinner than card so doesn't leave such a big step at the joins, but it does not respond very well to too much glue, goes very soggy very quick.

    Pegasus

My first build of this year (yeah I'm really quick these days). Anyways its Pegasus from Canon 3D Papercraft - Seasons & Holidays. Made in 90gsm paper and 50% reduction, although Adobe said 68% as I was printing it out. The paper was half the original size so its 50%. I...

Paper dolls... The best I've seen so far!

Sorry to hear about that paul but we all have our crosses to bear. BTW I'm not a native Sheffielder. I just happen to be here by accident. It was either here or overlooking Gipton in Leeds and that looked really grim. In fact I'm only just in Sheffield, if I spit hard enough I could hit...

Paper dolls... The best I've seen so far!

Paul I've built Verdandi twice. When I built the first one I made the head the same way you are, when I came to fit the hair I had a cursing and swearing job of trying to get the hair tabs to stick. For the second one I left the bottom of the chin off until I had fitted the hair. This...

Paper dolls... The best I've seen so far!

I believe Mizuirogakuen used pepakura for his models and made with or without fold lines. My avatar is Verdandi by Mizuirogakuen and rolled instead of folded. Noname attached is also rolled instead of folded, both printed onto ordinary paper. Bill
