    Greenburg Show, Washington, DC

I guess we both - wife and self - were so absorbed in what we were looking at when we were up at the NVNTrakers end of the show that we didn't notice anyone with a Gauge badge. Yes that is the precise one I meant. If you could post it I'd really appreciate it. I'd really like to use some of...

Chantilly show Sorry not to have met you yesterday. We were there from 12:30 to 3:30. Foolishly didn't bring my camera though. Did you by chance get a shot of the Neils Creek module - farm, barn, etc? Wife is happy, we got som farm animals and other stuff. Now on to scratch build a...

    Starting out in N scale

Modelling steam (bachmann 2-8-0 only loco now) 'cause I always believed trains run on steam and cars run on diesel. Oops, guess thats because I drive a VW TDI turbo diesel car. Oh well you get the idea - another somewhat off-beat type! It will be a wee little layout but since expansion is...

    Prototype or Freelanced?

Well, since I'm limited to a 31"x32" shelf layout it will be totally freelanced. Tiny but ... as I am wont to say after a heart attack this past June 26th ... it sure beats the alternative

    Starting out in N scale

My first post after "lurking" for several weeks. I am working on a brand new very small (by necessity) N scale layout of 31"x32" in my return to scale rr'ing after a layoff of about 25 years and I have to say the scratching building I've seen here is most impressive. Since the layout in...
