    You know them, those ugly pins hanging under the couplers, they look like crap and probally smell like it too, I havent checked that one out yet but its on my to-do list. Now onto the question, I have a few cars converted to knuckles and those little pins annoy the everloving crap out of me...

    Atlas Turnout Alternative

    Peco with tortoise switch machines are the way to go, altas turnouts and their big ugly machines look like a train set switch once you start using Peco. Now if only i had the money to buy more Peco stuff.

    I loaded up five or six bachman train set quaility hoppers with woodland scenics ballast and sent them up a grade as a "Work extra". At the top of the grade the track was a bit warped (Go go unfinished basments!") and this caused the horn-hooks :oops: coupled to the engine to come undone....and...

    What DCC system would be best for me

    I am starting work on a 4x8 with a 2x6 extension (The turtle creek central from MR with its branch) soon. And I want to switch to DCC. Since its a small layout I was considering EZ-DCC but I have heard bad things about it. Really all I will need is being able to run a train on the main loop...
