    well guys I got the Sumpter Valley 2-6-6-2 today in the mail. spent the last couple hours working on getting her to run good. as when i got her she would not run at all. now some 2 hours later running good but need a new Pony truck as this one is damaged bad.

    well I just talked by email to the guy who made her. he is Chuck Chenault he said it did start off as a 2-8-8-2 he shortened the trucks and the frame to make it the size it is from coupler to coupler is only 58 scale feet. I just wanted to give credit where it belongs.

    it was some kind of 2-6-6-2 as best as i can tell the wheel boxes don't look like they were cut down but the frame has been cut to make it shorter it may have started as a 2-8-8-2 but i don't know for sure.

    Not realy sure what you call the cab on it. with the door on the side of the cab, but i know the ET&WNC would not have used a cab like that. I would love to find a club near me that had HOn3 so we could do some of that. But the 2 clubs near me have no narrow gauge and have said they will not...

    A frend made me some molds and i just use plain old plaster of paris. they brake pretty easy is only trouble. and the glue i was useing would not hold them together. but over all i think they look pretty good i will post some more pics as soon as i finish them.

    Ok I know they never were, But what if? what would they have looked like? The book Tweetsie Country has a builders drawing of it. But does not give me everything i want to know. What kind of cab? what Paint job? all those little things and what number would they have had? does anyone have any idea?
