    Scrap \ junk yard scene!

    imo some of the "junkyard scenes" I've seen in the "popular" model rr mags look like a dog ate some toy cars that he didn't like. I stopped buying said mags when I came accross this site.

    Plaster cloth?

    I use cheesecloth and whatever plaster I can get cheap, everything from durabond to polyfilla. I mix up some really thin plaster and paint the area to be covered then lay the cheesecloth on the wet area then paint on a thicker coating of plaster. It's really quite strong and paint's/stains well...

    RIO Yeah I have the same "plan", have built 'n' ripped out a lot of stuff , the only real problem is having spots too wide{4ft is too wide} but it's all fun

    OK, so is it because I' m on dialup that I have to sign in almost every time? Cookies are ok but I'm more of a pie fan, really I'm so computer dumb I don't know what "cookies" are , this thing is a fancy typwriter to me.

    Im just not satisfied, Help!

    Don't tear it out ! add to it . get some more s-foam and pile it up, hack out the shapes you want, cover it with a layer of cheeze cloth 'n' plaster{I find stuff doesn't stick to sfoam too well}paint it and add scenery too taste [sure SOUNDS easy don't it?!}

    Amherst N.S Wallymart has train sets CN , F7 eight wheel drive. Two kankee cars, a hopper {green} and I think the other was a tank {too many head injuries} and a CN van. Knuckle couplers although I'm not sure who's $ 49.99 CDN. I'd make a poor witness.
