    Locomotive Rentals!

LIRR, To test MSTS, i took a BNSF Dash-9 over the Marias pass...turned derailments and such off, and brought up the specs screen to test bitrate, FPS, etc...i hit 210MPH down one of the large hills! Though i doubt a Geep would haul-butt that quickly, so i should be safe

    Using DCC with multiple locos

One of the things we accidently did at the last show me and the club were at was consist-on-the-fly...the couplers came apart on the 2 SD70's and since the lead unit didn't have any drag, he moved ahead alot faster. I had to break the consist, and stop the lead unit in the station, while...

    Empty Space for New Layout

JPG if you can, but BMP is acceptable as well...i think i found the problem on my end, but the image was at fault as well...software read colour code wrong. Anywho, once you upload, i'll tinker and give a general idea what i think'd look cool :thumb:

    Empty Space for New Layout

I tried to save the image as a .gif, .jpg and a .bmp file...they all came out with only greyscale colour capabilities...as in no matter what colour i picked in the paint program to edit them, they all appeared greyish...Is this the way you saved it, or is it the program? Later AR

    DPDT switch question

Graham, Little off-topic splurge here, but on my layout if i stuck with DC, i would have got 44-45 shut-off sections (12-track yard and 15-stall roundhouse adds up quickly) but since converting to DCC i'm chunking the blocks together to ease of use and to make the pannel less cluttered...once i...

    CN & BC Rail

Graham, Rockingham units have primer, if they're lucky!! Although, i think we finally found a prototype for running undecorated units on our trains...splatter some paint, stick on a faint CN and some numbers, and your good to go! AR

    BC Rail Extended-Vision Caboose

Mathieu, I know this isn't what your looking for, but PWRS did THREE EV BCR Cabeese...shown here: 2-tone green scheme as on the Kato SD40-2 units. 3-stripe red, white and blue scheme. This is the 3-strip, though it's the Expo '86 variation. Checked the Atlas site...none of the 3 EV...
