    Questions from a Newbie...

I have just scratched the name off now. I started off with a fingernail, then used a knife. You wouldn't know it was rubbed off just looking at it, although if you hold it up to the light you can see faint scratch marks. This isn't a problem for me as I'll probably end up weathering it.

    Questions from a Newbie...

Thanks for your replies! I'm now trying to come up with a name, but I wondered how I removed the 'Tioga Logging Co.' that is already on it, and replace it with something like 'Walton Logging Co,'? Thanks, George

    Turntable Recs

Go Hornby!! I got a motorised Hornby turntable yesterday for £45, and it is indexed electrically and physically - it waited at every output for 'pausing time'. The only problem is that it looks crap when you don't use all the outputs, so I think some plasticard would do the trick?? George

    Another Newbie from England

Hi Mark, I don't see why you couldn't use Hornby Setrack instead of Atlas - one word of warning: don't use Hornby points as the ALWAYS derail so I would go for Peco Setrack and it will be the smae size, angle etc. I think Atlas may make some crossover for that central track, but I know...

    Another Newbie from England

Hi Mark, My advice would be to get down to your local model shop, buy 3 or 4 track plan books and talk to the people there - hopefully they'll be enthusiasts and have some layouts themselves and know what they're talking about. I have a book by C. J. Freezer on designing a layout - you can...
