    Logs in water

    When you pour the resin to make water, is there a proper why to insert logs. Do you glue them to the bottom and pour resin half why up the log or cut the logs in half and place logs after the pour while it is still wet. I have made ponds with resin but not with logs.

    crew Typically, it had a four-man crew engineer, fireman, conducor and steerer. A bell rope was provided so the conductor, near the rear, could communicate with the front cab.

    This is a shot of Republic Locomotive Works saw mill kits. I did not buy all the kits because they would not fit on a 30"x48" N-trak module. I got the Log Dump, Sawmill, Planing shed, Pump house and power house. Very nice kits with lots of details. Will send pictures when I finish each kit...

    NIevo Looks like Mr Brannan is going for surgery. His site does show all of his fine models, cars, engines, n and narrow gague. Go to Google and type in Cashe Creek Scale models and you may find some pictures. I guess we will have to wait till he back on the net. Bill

    While doing research for my logging module I came across an article about hauling logs back in 1900. Pictures of a steam driven tractor. Modeltech Studies makes kits for HO & O, but none for N so I kit bashed one. The first picture is of real one and then my kitbash. Bill

    building a saw mill

    I am building a logging N-Trak module.I found all my kits and info from Republic Locomotive Works web site. They have nice detail kits and lots of things to do with logging. The kits are expensive but lots of detail. Now I am working on the Planing Shed and it looks good. Bill

    what is the formula for changing O scale to N scale. If I have a drawing in O scale, and I measure it with a O scale ruler and it is 30 ft, can I take my N scale ruler and measure it to 30 ft.:confused:
