Russ...You are so right! My lighting is atrocious:curse:. I tried to even out the lighting a bit and discovered that, with better lighting, I can darken the wall and follow Deano's sage advice:thumb: and still keep it looking good in person. What has resulted is a compromise between what looks...

Finally had a day to do some modeling... Because the office area on the new mine is on the opposite side, some excavation is needed to make it fit: I cut out the sloped area up to the track ballast: I decided to make a wood retaining wall. It is being made from wooden coffee stirers...
