Well, technically it is a pirate kit  This kit was released at Wonderfest in Japan a few years ago. It originally had a $80+ price tag. It has since been around the iinternet several times. Steve

    USS MISSOURI (BB-63)

Rob, Looks like you've got a great start on that monster  I'm looking forward to watching her take shape. By the way, where do you display/store such huge models? Steve PS Does anyone have any info on a 1/300 scale Missouri from Halinski :?:

A comparison between Fly Models and Halinski P38-J models

Hi Leif, Thanks for the review, it has tipped the scales toward Halinski, at least for me. Regarding the metal version, you could always recolor the grey areas to transparent and print on metallized paper :) Steve

    Halinski Yamato

Hi Rob, Thanks for the answer, I have the last release (2002?) which is her final configuration. Looks like I will save a little money this time :D Halinski's release from 1992 is the earlier version like Roman's. I must say, I've been following your build with great interest, as...

    'Using Rhinoceros' Discussion Thread

Hi Tim, Thanks for the reply! It is actually creating the appropriately shaped frames that has me stumped. Can this be done from multi-view drawings without section views? I have a gut feeling it can be done, but I'm guessing it takes a bit more work  Thanks again, Steve

Hi Tim, Great tutorial, thanks a million!! I am reading and rereading trying to get a good feeling before I try it out. One question though, I know you are starting simple with a circular form fuselage, but I have to ask  How does one form a non circular fuselage? Will you be...

    'Using Rhinoceros' Discussion Thread

Hi Tim, Great tutorial so far! Thanks a bunch, I will be following it closely  Is there a reason you use the rear view as opposed to the front view when importing your drawings? Is this because of the side view you chose? In other words, if the plane's nose were to the left, would...
