Is there anybody, who knows layouts with working cablecars (surface or air). This should be the main topic of the modelling efforts (not only just a model somewhere in the corner on the layout). Any help will be appreciated. :wave:

Hi Ian, the easiest is to get an Ampermeter (range up to about 1-2 Amps). Wire the meter in series with the motor and test the current. The motors usually have their maximum (if you do not know this value, you can test it yourself, at about 50% (6V) of nominal voltage - 12V- stop the motor...
