    NEM coupler pockets and Kadee

(Almost) Every KADEE coupler must be adjusted after installation. KADEE has very good tools for that (Pliers and the gauge). This is a general problem and is also actual for NEM pockets. The height of the Pocket is more or less standardised in NEM, however there are always some differences...

    Gears

Hi I have a problem with gears size specification. I know how the gears are specified in Europe (modul and teeth) but no idea how do you do it in oversea or what does it mean e.g. 48 DP. Thank you for your help.

    00 gauge

Re: HOe/HOm In Europe the standard were slightly simplified, to avoid all thos stresses with different scales and tracks. The H0m is really the equivalent of the meter gauge lines (with some variations cca from 900 mm to 1200 mm) and uses the TT scale tracks (12 mm) with the same or...

    The gatter

Wood, Plastic or whatever. Favorite Materials.

Hi I prefer on locomotives brass and other metals (because of weight). On cars (did not build many) I use laminated paper or cardstock and styren. On buildings recently I prefer wood and with metal, stone and plastic accessories (like windows).

    The gatter

Everybody builds a sawmill for his logging railroad. I did as well, but a bit differently as we know. This machine is the so called venetian gatter, which with a single operation cuts the wood into lumber. Do you have (did you have) such machines over the lake?
