How do you get your foliage so "lush?" Great shot! :)

    I finished something again

Looks good. My only beef is that the house is obviously sitting on top of the lawn, as though the wicked witch's legs might be sticking out. Good find on the house! :)

    Extra 727 East

I'm not sorry I asked. I was guessing it had something to do with the First Nations and the Grand River. Keep up the fine modelling! :)

Excellent photos! :) I'm curious about the "Way of the Warriors" logo on EGE boxcar #7880. What does that represent?

Andrew, those are the only 4 I took (too busy hanging onto kids to get more :) ) Maybe my buddy took some more pics of it - I'm still waiting to get copies of the pics he took.

I was unaware of the 35 minute clock there. I thought it was quicker than that, since they had done night time the past 2 times I was there. Did you enjoy the picture of the electric unit on the cover of the tour guide?

A quick note about the picture with the yellow houses, there is some neat forced perspective there. The houses are approximately the same distance from the backdrop, but each one is progressively shorter as you go back from the road.

The last layout we visited was Graham MacDonald's Ottawa, Arnprior, & Parry Sound Railway, which has a very interesting history. This layout is well researched and very well done.

Here's the Baden Model Railroad club. This was to be their last open house too, since they are disbanding due to lack of members (and $$). We were pretty disappointed to hear that, since it's one of our favourites.

In Waterloo we saw Chris Bramble's CN central Ontario. Looks like he's off to a good start.

    My Doubleheaders tour 2006 pics

Also in Kitchener we visited Tim & Vita Warris' excellent Port Kelsey Railway. This is the last open house for this layout since they are moving, so we were glad we stopped by. The layout is for sale, comes with a free house. There is some excellent trackwork here, which most people came for...

After lunch we drove to Kitchener to see Dieter & Matt Engelman's Conrail/NS Southern Tier. There is some excellent detail work on this layout.

I don't have any pics of the 2nd layout we visited. Third layout was Wayne Tessaro's Ontario Southwestern, in O scale.

First layout to visit was the excellent O scale Aberfoyle Junction. Unfortunately while we were there they didn't seem to have many trains running, and they didn't do the nighttime display either.

Started out as a bright sunny day, Pink Floyd's The Wall playing in its entirety on the radio, and a Timmy's coffee to enjoy on the 401. (No, my cup was not a winner.) There were several layouts at the registration hall. Here is my daughter Alexis admiring the O-scale collection of Peter and...

    IHC/ President's choice Hudon mods

My local Loblaws family store still has around 30 sets at the $79.99 price. I'm waiting for them to get a little cheaper before I scoop some and start parting them out. :)

Double Headers Tour. Photo`s from our day.

It happened in St Thomas, Ontario. They have an elephant statue there commemorating it. Thanks for sharing Chris. I'll post pics of the layouts we saw after I get mine off the camera and a friend who was with us gets me his pics. You think it was a tough day with just adults, we had two...
