    Spiders, Spiders, everywhere....Help!

I know. I'm probably the most long winded person i know. I always type up mega-posts. I just can't tolerate abuse of science. Its unfortuneate that there is so much here-say about things like spiders that the truth doesn't even seem believeable anymore.

    Spiders, Spiders, everywhere....Help!

The best solution to poisonous spiders is to introduce a competing species of predator that is harmless to people and pets, such as your average run of the mill wolf spider and jumping spiders. House centipedes are also successful counters to many of the spiders you guys seem to be worried...

    G.E.C's layout pictures

On the newest NJ transit locomotives, they have a new paint scheme where the "disco stripes" become a faded band. Originally, it was three diagnol stripes, and you can see them in my earrlier models. The new paint scheme has a band like this-...

    Spiders, Spiders, everywhere....Help!

Still, no need to bomb you garage. that was the point of what i'm saying. Its not practical to live in fear of a spider, because they can' be anywhere. just check if you see a web.

This is true i forgot to mention that you need the thick CA. i've tried using it on regular "thin" CA, didn't work! I'll have to try the Baking soda idea, because a few of my resin kits have bubbles (thankfully not visibile on the outside) that need to be addressed.

    Spiders, Spiders, everywhere....Help!

However, both of these spiders rarely give bites that cause extreme harm unless your body is already weakened. Necrosis from the Brown Recluse happens only rarely, and in the case of the black widow, the spider is so small that in most cases, there is not enough venom to do serious harm (that...

    Spiders, Spiders, everywhere....Help!

They would only show up more with a cover! the fact of the matter is, spiders and similar creatures are beneficial, and they aren't ever going to harm you. just leave them alone, unless they have managed to become outragous in number. In the end, they will keep other bugs out.

    G.E.C's layout pictures

I've discovered a good photo to steal the "disco-band" for the PL42AC and ALP46 locomotives, but now i need a good way to print them. How would a decal sheet printed from my computer work? I would think that would make the colors run.... Anyways, I'm going to put the commuter models away for...

another job? you're already working one? I know its exciting to build hobby stuff, but i think maybe the answer is to slow down, otherwise you won't have enough time to spend the money cause you'll be working! I know! when i started the hobby in HO back in the day, (for a year i was sticking...

    Spiders, Spiders, everywhere....Help!

You couldn't just scoop it out? that seems so much easier... Once again, i question the point of bombing the whole layout for blackwidows. garages are their favorite place, and they will always come back. In the end, you kinda just released lots of chemicals for nothing. i'm not a...

Yeah, if i ever do make that Northeast Corridor layout, i think i'll just make one whole leg of my layout one station. That should be good enough. I would just buy whichever light and casting i wanted for it and measure it. Even then, the wires aren't very big,so it shouldn't be a problem...

the size never ends! you're gonna need a huge layout. Atleast you don't have any passenger/commuter trains. I worked out that a reasonable station length is somewhere around 6 feet (try fitting that on a layout easily!) No, all I'm saying is drill the holes for it now. For example, the...

I hear you! luckily, i only work one day a week but get payed as much as the other kids my age because my job is specialized. If only it werent an hour's commute away into Staten Island, lol. If i were you, i'd join a club. You could run your equipment there. That doesn't sound...

    The Exploding Airbrush....

Sorry i haven't gotten back to you guys. It was a Badger Crescendo I finally found out that its the cone on the tip of the air brush causing the problem. It apparently require you to switch the cone out if you use a different sized needle. I didn't know that, and so when i switched back to...

I try to avoid Ebay where i can. Then again, Ebay is the only place i can even find half the stuff i buy. Then again, i got no more room to build stuff in anymore, so i guess there is a reason i don't have an influx of stuff anymore, lol! I need a new layout... you're gonna have to find...

    Trucklover's Shelf Layout Thread

Its a good system, i have the lower end Express version. The only concern i've heard from people is that it doesn't build up as easily as NCE does. I've also heard that it doesn't control accessory decoders with the handhelds, but the newer Prodigy Advanced Squared probably does. I'd check on...
