    Rocinante build No. 3

The books it is based on are awesome as well. They take place over a longer period of time. Right now the series is about the 2nd half of the 2nd book I think. By Book 7 (first of the three books that will be the final arc) Holden is an old-ish man with white hair. Great to see how the things...

Enclave Power Armor build (Fallout) [FINISHED]

This weekend I was working on the torso. This is the part that will hold the legs, the arms, the helmet, and the breastplate together. It is basically the same Power Armor Frame that I've build for my T-60 with much more details. This time I'm only building the parts that will be visible under...

Enclave Power Armor build (Fallout) [FINISHED]

I took some pictures to show how I minimalize the visibility of edges. This was made on a a flat part to make it more easy to show, but this works with most curved parts as well. First the freshly cut parts get some coloring on the edges, usually with brush marker pens (or what they are called)...

Enclave Power Armor build (Fallout) [FINISHED]

Thx! I'm using several shades of gray marker pens/brush pens + a technique similar to the one DjPinter described here (http://www.zealot.com/threads/getting-an-almost-seamless-hull.177057/) I just use the back tip of my curved tweezers insted of something straight, since I usually do it on...

    Sulaco from the movie "Aliens."

There are actually multiple build threads of this model, or models since I think there are multiple ones in different scales. I remember following this one as it was built: http://www.zealot.com/threads/uss-sulaco-by-skoda-jan-rükr-1-320-tuning.170248/ Also forum search is your friend ;)...

Enclave Power Armor build (Fallout) [FINISHED]

New weekend new update :) .... Finished with the other knee and upper leg. While doing that I realized I switched the bottom part of the legs, the ankle joint stub should be on the outer side. Took some scalple work but it is corrected now. Also finished with the arms. I intend to make...

Enclave Power Armor build (Fallout) [FINISHED]

Thx! For that I cannot take the credit. It is all the "original" ingame texture and my printer. In this case the modded textures made by a modder named Jerros. (He DID do an awesome job on them thou ;) )

Enclave Power Armor build (Fallout) [FINISHED]

The helmet needs some more work, but the basic shape is done. I will do the piping later with the torso. Instead I started work on the legs. Progress is good so far... This armor has extensive protective plating on the feet so I did not include some of the overly detailed feet parts in this...

Enclave Power Armor build (Fallout) [FINISHED]

Finished: Original: Ready to start on another Power armor model from the Fallout universe. First appearing in Fallout 2, the "Advanced Power Armor" was used by the Enclave. And was the most badass thing you could get in the game next to the M72 Gauss rifle (personal opinion) It also appeared...

Flip an Unfolded Part in Pepakura? SOLVED!

Depending on the printer, the driver might support mirrored printing. So you can move any part that you need to mirrored, and for that page use mirrored print. Or you can have pepakura export as multi-image and use an image viewer/editor that can mirror the pages that need it.

    A couple of B5 ships....

Oh I love B5, and these are very good models. The Agincourt reminds me of the Nova-class Dreadnaughts, or at least a smaller cousin of them ;)

T-60 Power Armor build (Fallout 4) [FINISHED]

Wow, this was a loooooong project but Phase 4 is finally completed. The base is cardboard reinforced card stock, with multiple layers glued together and drilled for the whole to fit the dowel hanging out of the one leg of the partial dresser. The Nuka-cola poster was cut by hand with some...

T-60 Power Armor build (Fallout 4) [FINISHED]

Was a tad busy this last 2 weeks with life stuff, but finally had a bit of time to build. Made the visible corner of the dresser, that will have the bobble-head on top, and also had time to start on the base. Really close to the finish now.

    Blackadder's Imperator Titan Build

This project is AWESOME! I'm not a mechanical engineer or anything, but I could see that hydraulic system also helping with shock absorbtion. I meant that is one massive structure hanging from the arm, that moves up/down as the titan walks. It looks like it could help with that. (If there's...

T-60 Power Armor build (Fallout 4) [FINISHED]

Had really little time this weekend, but I've managed to do a few things. First off the magazine rack started to sag even impregnated with quick glue, so had to make some reinforcements. Turned out it looks much better this way :P I've realized that the magazines are nice rectangles, even being...
