I've checked out Shilouette Studio (Basic is free) and seems straight enough to use. As I use Pepakura almost exclusively seems kind of fast too. Pepakura can export the cut vectors as a .dxf which SStudio can read. Looks pretty convenient. Found this video that show how the process can work...

Thx guys! I found a place that actually sells the cameo 3 and Portrait 2 in my country with a 1 year warranty (thats' about the average here) so will look into the software more.

If you imagine trench warfare and the beam would cut across no-mans land at a low angle it could work well broking up assaults. But yeah not insurance for sure :cool:

I'm not an expert on 40k stuff, but the Imperial Guard HQ map in Dawn of War 2: Dark Crusade had a working titan weapon as a fixed hazard (that looks like a hellstorm cannon) It fires on all barrels (although it's a bit unorthodox use of it, so who knows), and it does have only 5 barrels.

Great models as always! I'm cursed or something. I was all set to go this year (finally) ... then my ride had to cancel a week before + I got a nasty cold too. Have to get there next year, maybe I get some1 to drag me in a wheelchair or something ... no matter what :)

Yeah It's especially annoying when artists lock the pdo with a password AND only supply a lined template. Without password no way to disable the fold lines. (at least there wasn't the last time I've tried on Pepakura 3.X ) Many templates I liked never got into my build queue because of this..

So many Tesla nodes to make, but made great progress. These were glued mostly without flaps. for 2 reasons: - Most of them are so small It looks better this way. - So many cylinders I would have gone crazy :P

Atom's Judgement is complete ... and looks waaay better than I imagined. I am very pleased with myself right now :p Needed a jet booster, fuel valve, fuel line node, some braces for the jet, a small part which I'm guessing is either backup fuel tank for the jet when the main one in the handle...

The hammer is taking shape, still need the jet booster though.

It would, but I think I'll go with the Midwestern Brotherhood Power Armor next, seen a great model in the making on Nexus :D

Finally managed to create the templates for the rest of the model. And thus the build continues.. Started with some Fusion Cores

Started on more piping for the helmet and the armor too. Also added the frames for the pauldons. And after building the standard power armor frame hands ... ... final assembly! I still need to build the Atom's Judgement sledgehammer I planned, but I need tho make the template for it...

Had decent progress this weekend. Many, many small bits plus started assembly. Looks like a dissection :P It can stand now!!
