lol, i honestly dont even know the power stuff off the top of my head... i just know it's the same as lionel type stuff... the transformer i mostly use is actually a lionel one... i just took a peak and its 5-6 volts and it says 90watt... it's one of the ones with 4 connectors on the top, U, A...

i'm not wiring it into anything... just stright to the track pickup and grounding to the wheels.... is the resistor needed to run the light?

okay, i want to get a nice big bright light in one of my marx... i know i'll most likely get the power from the pickup and ground it to the wheels.... i'll be running on standard lionel track and a 50watt transformer.... i have a slight idea of how i want to do this.... but can anyone...

i havn't been in toronto since about 8 years?? i did the skydome tour while they were setting up for a rolling stones concert and went up the CN Tower... i might have to stop again for that pint :D btw, this is my 200th post :D :D :D

how old is the track... and how long did it take to melt? if you sat a lamp or spotlight next to it... the heat from that would do it... given the melt i can almost visualize the location of the source if it was heat related... soo i wouldnt be suprized if it was a lamp or lighting...

yep, they actually will run on lionel transformers and track, i have a older 50watt powering the outside track so i can also run lionel on it... on the far right of the platform is my lionel stuff, the two platforms were seperate before but now there innermixed a bit i was scared of the...

N scale? that the inch tall ones, right? thats insane detail for that scale!

sorry for the mess, i took down everything soo i could add more and double the size of the platform... i'm moving all the track around and adding afew more tracks soo i can run more trains... here's the two new Marx loco's i got with abunch of new cars
