    Pent-a-Ball

I didn't find it on-line. It was a photo copy I found in a bunch of craft magazines I got at a garage sale. I scanned it and cleaned it up then printed it with a laser printer onto color card stock. I have it someplace on my HD.

    Rub-aDub Tug

I don't normally build boats but for some reason, I always likes Tugs so I gave this one a try. The smoke stack and air vents were the hardest part. I soaked the masts with super glue so they wouldn't warp out.

    Sopwith paper

Great idea! I think I will do that and hang it on my celing fan. What clear coat can I use that won't smear the ink? I've tried Future in an airbrush and had to scrap the model. That's all I ever use on my plastic kits but paper absorbs everything and wrinkles.

    Piper ala Fiddlers Green

Yea, I shoulda reenforced it. The FG models all seem to have wing issues. Especially at the tips. Can't complain for free however. I found a free Cesna 151 model on-line. I'm going to do that as my next plane.

    Munster's House

I would but I already gave it away to my sister-in-law. She's a big Munster's fan. I might build another sometime after I'm done with the UHU02 LEM.

    Oldschool Benz

I agree, I'm pretty much not a fan of anything with plastic bumpers & grills. Something about chrome metal that makes the vehicle, special.

    Take me to your leader

Actually built this years ago before I had a digital camera. The build is very simplistic thou. Clean & fill the seams and paint basically. I would normally fill the shrink holes with putty but for some reason, the ones in his hands reminded me of sucker cups so I left them. It is Alien after...

    Link's shield

I made this on Christmas Eve last December. When I woke up on Christmas morning, Santa had left the new Legend of Zelda game next to it for me. I'm making some paper Ferrari keys for the tree this year. :D

    Pent-a-Ball

Some geometric christmas orniment from a craft magazine I think. All I found was a photocopy of the pattern. No instructions or anything. It was actually harder to build than it looks. First model using colored cardstock.

Lobbith tho this at thy foe..

Yea, go for it. I finished in 1 night. The cool thing is the horizontal band hides the seam so you can be a little lax on the fit. Thanks!

A little gift for my niece

She loves Monster High. The hinge wasn't too well thought out but it's still functional.

Lobbith tho this at thy foe..

Gotta love Python.. My first crack at a sphere. Actually wasn't all that bad. Found the trick is to pre-form the sections. I use a marble on a foam place mat. The blue mat in the picture is a piece of it. The foam is about 1/16 inch thick and has a smooth glossy finish. I got them at Wal-Mart...

Finished with Avon nail polish. Eyes are bare metal foil covered with transparent red. I named him "Elvis".

    Candy green T-Bird

Thanks for the tip and, yes, I have used NP before. My wife is an Avon Lady and she got me some really cool metalliac ones. I tried thinning with Acetone but it attacks the plastic and crazes. I found the best thing to use is Testors metalizer thinner. See my next post for the results.
