    AD&N 1205

Not right now. The primary period that I model is around 1980. That is when this unit was painted into this scheme. I'll probably get around to doing weathering on my stuff eventually, but right now it is not one of my main priorities. I figure after I get a lot of other stuff done that...

    AD&N 17

Thanks , gentlemen. AD&N 17 is a former Reading caboose. The Life-Like NE caboose was the closest match I could find, it was a GN X300 before I stripped it. I got the Atlas trucks from an Atlas NE-6 New Haven caboose. The smokejack came from an old Atlas offset cupola UP caboose.

    AD&N 17

I took this photo of AD&N 17 on 31 Dec 2003 at Crossett, Arkansas at the old AD&N shop. It had been out of service for 7 1/2 years at that time. Here is my N Scale version. It was made from a $1.50 Life-Like Caboose. I added an Atlas smokejack and caboose trucks. I also...

    Recycled Paper Mills????

Some use nothing but recycled paper. An example can be found here: http://marcalpaper.com/default.cfm?SiteMenu=Editorial&PageID=181 Some use chips, some use stick wood, some use logs, some use all of them. More good info here: http://www.paperonweb.com/pmake11.htm

    Homemade Decals

I finished these up today. A friend of mine came by the other day. He asked me how many of the pulpwood racks that I had. I told him that I had 19. The next time I saw him, he gave me one. He said it was the only one he had and it wasn't right for his layout, so he didn't run it. Now I...
