On the central area I made my own girders to strengthen. And cut out landing bays, added a little extra.

Now she,s looking like she should.

I then continued adding strength to the parts as I cut them, I even tried some of this corrugated card. I also printed parts twice to glue onto card stock for cutting of the reinforcement, wont do that again, not very cost affective

I seem to be having a great deal of difficulty uploading the pictures, it either doesn't upload or it does it twice or out of order.

Then I start adding reinforcment

After I have cut out pieces, I mark with pencil on all fold lines, then flip over and colour around the fold lines, ready for gluing.

Finally between harvest, illness and losing on the computer I finally have my Rodger Young build.

The finished product. Next time Ill change the way I do things, if I ever get back to another one. Ill try and find the Rodger Young build and upload next.

Here I star adding strength because the parts are more square. This is where my earlier makings come into play, the extra strength can only go between the marked folds and bends The concept on some of the folds is ingenious. Congrats to the designer. The fold over on this is brilliant

I must get rid of that green pen, it looked fine when I was doing it, but once the model was finished it spoilt it a bit. Next part 3
