I think that's a nice compromise you've gone for there... Keeping the traditional sub shape intact, while giving just a subtle hint at what's hiding beneath the surface... Nice job on that door too, I don't think I would have wanted to do the full length of the sub either. :D

That hull is looking nice Hermit... One question... in relation to what you guys (Hermit and eibwarrior) have said about not wanting to paint over the printed hull detail... would it be worth trying to spray it with a clear gloss instead of red paint? would that not give you the shiny hull...
